Plinth

With the Netherland’s- based group, Plinth, XVenture achieved another first with the creation of a virtual environment for these World leaders in the volumetric 3D app space.

Plinth’s app- based 3D photography solution makes the building of 3D objects accessible for everyone.  Turning the complex into the simple, is how Plinth and XVenture connected.

Plinth is an innovative photogrammetry group with a soon to be released, state of the art app. The app will give users the ability to 3D scan and capture everyday objects, food, and high-end art through their smartphone camera.

Plinth’s co-founders, Markus Laxinger & Winnie Lam, saw how a virtual world experience would meet specific business goals…

 1.     The experience helps convey the story of Plinth, its mission to reduce the carbon footprint of the high-end art industry, the people behind the company, and how Founders see the app progressing.

2.     The incredible outputs of the app are placed front and centre, with examples on display throughout the world, from everyday object to fine art pieces.

3.     To support and engage their users, by having a learning and event space where informational content sits, and live streams workshops and webinars can be hosted.

The Plinth virtual world design and experience was a first for XVenture and pushed the creative and productive team to another level. Instead of a building/ venue to move through, users enter the main building and world morphs into different spaces around them!

The project provided a brand new and unique tech challenge for the Infinite XVR team and has led to many new opportunities and inspirations.

CFF

Commercial Fitout Furniture are a leading supplier of office furniture that differentiate themselves on their product quality, sustainability, and customer service.

CFF, CEO Gary Poechhacker was inspired by XVenture’s work incorporating 3D models into virtual worlds to create an immersive and engaging experience for users. Furthermore, Gary wanted to challenge the use of a traditional, 2D website and the Infinite XVR team developed a virtual world solution, in its place.

The CFF virtual brand experience works as a virtual show room, filled with interactive 3D models of products as well as avatars that highlight what sets CFF apart. The experience effectively demonstrates anyone who comes to visit the world, that CFF is second to none when it comes to innovation, range, service and creativity.

Nickaz

Nickaz is a boutique office construction and fit out group. Their CEO, Kazan Hadden, wanted a bespoke head office environment reflective of their innovative approach and creativity. They needed a place to invite potential clients where they could experience past projects, hear from key members of the team, and convey how they work with clients. They will officially be launching their world in March 2023 and are likely to be adding more content and/or using the venue for a live launch.

Nuzest

Nuzest is a high-end supplement company with distribution around the Globe. Major markets include Australia, New Zealand, US (with their Protein Powders) and UK.

The CEO, Trevor Bolland was keen to have an environment reflective of their brand, values and provide visitors the opportunity to learn about key points of difference. In a saturated supplements market, being able to educate consumers in an engaging and effective way is key. In addition, they were looking for an additional sales channel, so their bespoke and custom-built HQ had to have a shop with 3D products and integrated e-commerce solution. They opted to use ‘real’ people (instead of avatars) as they felt it would create a more authentic connection to the brand and products.

Their dream HQ also needed a café, a boardroom (where the CEO could share their sustainability strategy), a gym (where visitors could participate in yoga classes), a locker room, shop and an upstairs office area with studio and research lab (these areas are not accessible to the general public).

Gymshark

In August 2020, Gymshark’s Chief People Officer, Dave Parry, happened to come across XVenture and their virtual world immersive team experience, XVenture Mind Games.

Discussions began around creating a virtual onboarding process that would immerse new employees into Gymshark philosophically, culturally and (in virtual terms) physically.

Since March 2022, every new recruit has the opportunity to 'visit' every office, get to learn, understand, and immerse themselves in the cultures well as access health and safety information and practical aspects of working at Gymshark.

Football Coaches Australia College

In 2020, Football Coaches Australia approached XVenture, specifically Mike Conway, with a JV opportunity. They are the main body in Australia that’s responsible for the creation and delivery of professional development for football (soccer) coaches in Australia. Mike’s expertise in the subject areas of EQ, Resilience, leadership, and communication placed him well to write the full 103 subject program, and then work with our design and production team to create a deep and exciting immersive learning experience within the virtual FCA XV College Campus. Subjects were all treated and turned into various multi-media assets including videos, blogs, podcasts, interactive articles, and posters. All this was dropped into an LMS with quiz functionality built in.

Not only do coaches who complete the program get official CPD points towards relicensing, we also have Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) arrangements in place with University of Wollongong, Global Institute of Sport (GIS), Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) with more in discussion. Over 450 coaches have already participated in this individual/ self-paced virtual world learning experience. It was when Heather Garriock, CEO of Taekwondo saw this learning experience, that she approached us to design and deliver the AusTKD Centre of Excellence.

Australian Taekwondo

How do you provide access to a sport which typically relies on participants going to a dedicated physical environment? How do you encourage participation in a sport where a barrier to access may be due to cultural/ religious reasons? How do you showcase and provide access to programs, courses, and conferencing in a cost effective, immersive, and engaging way?

Taekwondo Australia approached us to design and build a world class Centre of Excellence, that would address all the above and more. For the media launch, attendees were invited into the Centre of Excellence where Heather Garriock formerly opened the centre live, from within the Movie Theatre and conducted a Q&A in one of the Arenas.
